The good news is we seem to be on a trend for an early spring!
The bad news is we must navigate this time of COVID-19 outbreak carefully.
At River's Edge Farm Stand we are taking precautions and limiting customer traffic in the greenhouses and farm stand building for checkout. We will be allowing only two people in each greenhouse at one time and only one person at a time in the building for checkout.
I'm happy to select plants for you for pickup in our parking lot. I'll be posting as many images and listing varieties on this blog-site and on our Facebook page. As the planting season moves rapidly, please call for current availability. 525-4000
If you prefer to select your own plants we have a procedure in place and appreciate your patience with this necessary process to serve your needs through this gardening season. As per VT and CDC recommended guidelines:
1.) Please come prepared with your own mask/mouth and nose covering to wear while you are in the greenhouses and building.
2.) We ask that you approach the farm stand main front door and practice a minimum of 6' personal space. .
3.) I will then let you know if either of the greenhouses are available for you to enter.
4.) I'll ask that you read your card number for entry. Credit or Debit (will be processed as credit) card payments are preferred. However, I will be accepting cash transactions in the farm stand.
5.) A clear plastic barrier will be in place between the front and back of check-out counter.
6.) I'll ask that you bag or tray your own items to limit the need for me to handle them after you have selected them.
